About me

Anthony Paris joined the faculty of UAA in August 2007. He earned an B.S. and M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis in 1987 and 1988, and a Ph.D. in Theoretical and Applied Mechanics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1997. He served on the faculty at Washington University, the University of Illinois, and Boise State University and worked in industry conducting finite element analysis for Caterpillar. He is a registered Professional Engineer.

Research Interests

Anthony Paris\' research interests are in the area of mechanics.
