Revive ACM Club / Merge with CSE?

There has been some interest from the CSE program to revive the ACM (Association for Computing Machinery) CS Club. This would give us some benefits like access to distinguished lecturers, programming contests, etc. The idea was also suggested of merging the CS Club with CSE to perhaps form a new club under the auspices of the ACM.

Please post your comments and if there is interest we should probably convene a meeting to discuss.

This seems like a grand

This seems like a grand idea. Pooled resources could only help, especially since it seems that the CS club is severely under-attended.

CSE Mean?

Do you mean Computer System Engineering (CSE)? I am not clear about national level or UAA level. If it is UAA level, I would like to have CS, EE and CSE together. Big problem with CS club is not having enough participants, I could not run more then 2 semester when I was officer.

Meeting

Yes, Computer Systems Engineering. This would be UAA level as an ACM Club.
I'll post when I have info on a meeting time and location.
