UAA Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers

Mission Statement:
The UAA IEEE branch is dedicated to providing scholarships, research grants, mentorships, tutoring programs, internship opportunities, and industry field trips for our members. We maintain the idea that our students should have direct communication with the professional industry. Our program will serve as an outlet for students to socialize as well as form study groups. The IEEE will cater to students studying computer and electrical engineering, and computer science. The IEEE will host guest speakers from around Alaska to give students insight on what an engineering career entails. On occasion the branch may also collaborate with other entities in the engineering profession.
