distance educationUsing Elluminate with a Tablet PC02/11/2007 - 00:10 Etc/GMT I've recently been using my tablet with together with Elluminate in a hybrid face-to-face and distance course. Elluminate allows recording and sharing of the desktop for both remote and local students, among many other things (broadcasting powerpoint, text and audio chat, whiteboard tools, etc). In the face-to-face classroom, students are sitting in a computer classroom and can interact via elluminate with each other or remote students. So far it's worked fairly well, aside from some technical glitches involving audio or network connectivity. |
