livescribeLivescribe06/30/2007 - 16:14 Etc/GMT Livescribe (http://www.livescribe.com/) looks pretty interesting and useful for students, although less so for faculty. It does look like a nice way to ink/blog in direct full sunlight, something a lot of tablets don't do too well. I think the tablet paradigm is more powerful though. The search and collaboration features require a computer, and you also end up with paper notes that need to be managed. You get a digital copy along with the paper, but if that's what you store why use the paper at all? Still, this could provide the best of both worlds for people that prefer reading and handling paper, but want to occasionally manipulate the content digitally. |
