SIGCSEBack from SIGCSE03/19/2008 - 14:12 Etc/GMT Well, I returned from SIGCSE last week along with a nasty cold so I haven't been quite motivated enough to post some of the things I saw and learned at the conference. Overall it was quite fun, although tiring. My oqo was a great companion for this trip and let me get online from pretty much anywhere in town and I also got some work done in the airport and in the airplane. When I had a table and needed to do serious typing I used a bluetooth stowaway keyboard and IOGear bluetooth mouse, which worked great. Otherwise, I used the thumb keyboard, which was actually quite handy in the cramped airplane seat. Despite the small screen I was quite productive and carried only a fraction of the weight if I took my normal laptop. Getting ready for SIGCSE03/11/2008 - 13:45 Etc/GMT I'll be travelling to SIGCSE this week for the second year in a row and hope to come back on Sunday with some new teaching tools. I'll also be presenting a poster on an online programming assignments archive. Back from SIGCSE03/13/2007 - 15:51 Etc/GMT I'm back from my trip to SIGCSE, and it was a good conference despite Northwest airlines getting me there a day late and losing my checked bag until the day before returning.
