It was brought to my attention that PenAttention and CursorAttention don't work on 64 bit operating systems. I've recompiled both of them and here is a version of each that runs on XP 64 or Vista 64:

PenAttention64.zip

CursorAttention64.zip

Sorry, I didn't make an installer for these, but if you unzip them somewhere then just run the .exe to start it up. You can put a shortcut in your startup folder if you want it to start up when Windows boots up.

I love this program!! I've been using a Wacom Bamboo tablet for 2 years now in medical school, squinting at the computer screen and looking for the tiny dot in OneNote as I take notes. I've adapted to holding the right click button down as I gesture or write, which puts the "ring" cursor around the tiny little dot, but this is so much better!

Another useful hack for OneNote would be the ability to constrain cursor movement in either the horizontal or vertical directions with a hotkey like Ctrl, Shift, or the Windows button. Some solutions exist like DragLock (programmed in AutoHotKey) but it doesn't work within OneNote (for example, if I wanted to underline or highlight something with the pen). This is only necessary for those of us who are super OCD, or who are using Wacom tablets as opposed to tablet PCs. Any ideas on how this might be accomplished?

Thanks! That is an interesting idea about the DragLock. I see the benefit of drawing straight lines :-) I'll give that some thought, I think it might be possible... maybe holding down the right click button? There might need to be an setting to enable/disable it in the app.
